1 kg of boiled shrimp
100g fish eggs
2 dl sour creame or crème fraîche
1 dl mayonaise
1 pot of chives
2 hard boiled eggs
2 tbs chopped chives
salt & pepper to taste
Peel the shrimp (make sure you don't use tiger prawns as these are too large and taste very different).
Hard boil the eggs (about 5 min) and peel off the shells. Chop up into very small peices as well as the chives.
In the container you are going to bring out with you, put in the peeled boiled shrimp with all the ingredients (not the toast & butter) and mix well. Place in the fridge until you are ready to leave.
If you are going to go on a very long adventure and will not start eating for a while into it, the topping can also be placed in the freezer. It will slowly thaw out until you are ready to eat, thus it will not spoil in the heat.
You can also pre-fry the bread in butter if you do not have the possibility to fry them outside. Normal toast will also work, or even plain bread without butter. Remember, all the recipes can be made at home and are not specific to adventures! Hope you enjoy, and don't forget to share.
